Well, see that's something I wasn't aware of. Go to a friend's house then or maybe a library.

Will the book be available on amazon.[other than .com] as well in the forseeable future? They don't take shipping fees for books in Germany after all, and I guess ordering from the US would be another $5-8, so you'd pay ~$25 with tax for it or so, which is ~€18 or so.

pun (n.)
1662, probably a clipped form of pundigron, which is perhaps a humorous alteration of It. puntiglio "equivocation, trivial objection," dim. of L. punctum "point." The verb is attested from 1670. Johnson has also punster, defined as "a low wit who endeavours at reputation by double meaning."

Re international sales... I signed up for "expanded distribution" which allows e.g. bookstores to order from Amazon; it takes time for it to propagate through the system, but maybe that's an option.

Has anyone ordered the book through amazon.com from Europe?

If nothing else, I can order books and ship them myself... I'm not sure if that would end up cheaper since they'd be double-shipped, but I do get the books at a lower cost so it might work out.

For Canada, it has cost me 24$ (US) to get it.

Just as I was wondering how long it takes to print and ship a print-on-demand book, Amazon notified me that my copy has shipped. So it took a little more than a day from the time I placed my order.

It'll arrive on Thursday.

According to this page

http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/ ... eId=596194

shipping charges to Europe are $4 per order plus $4 per item. I'll look at what it would cost to ship to Europe myself— it might end up cheaper if that's the only book you want.
